For custom setups, the device can be programmed via its USB-C port, allowing you to load and manage different EDID profiles using factory presets or your own custom configurations. The built-in DIP switches allow for settings configuration and write-protection control directly on the unit, making it perfect for permanent installations where reliability is critical.

General Information

Manufacturer: Nice S.p.A.

Manufacturer Part Number: GF-EDD-HD

Brand Name: Gefen

Product Model: GF-EDD-HD

Product Name: HDMI EDID Detective with EDID Control & 8K Support (GF-EDD-HD)

Product Type: EDID Emulator/Manager

Technical Information

Functions: Video Capturing

Maximum Resolution: 7680 x 4320

Screen Mode Supported:

8K

4K

Supported Video Modes:

4320p

2160p

Device Supported:

Workstation

Digital Signage

Monitor

Video Wall

Projector

Notebook

Home Theater

Interactive Whiteboard

Presentation System

Interfaces/Ports

USB: Yes

USB Standard: USB Type-C

HDMI: Yes

Physical Characteristics

Form Factor:

Surface-mountable

Rack-mountable

Height: 2.8"

Width: 3.5"

Depth: 0.8"

Weight (Approximate): 0.40 lb

Warranty

Limited Warranty: 3 Year

https://islandelectricalsupply.com/products/gefen-hdmi-edid-detective-with-edid-control-8k-support-gf-edd-hd-gfeddhd
