1U Horizontal Cable Lacing Bar with Adjustable Depth, SPCC Steel Construction, Dual-Mode Installation, and M6 Hardware for 19-Inch Server Rack Cable Management
The StarTech 12S-CABLE-LACING-BAR is a StarTech 1U horizontal cable lacing bar that organizes network, power, and patch cables within 19-inch server racks and cabinets, featuring adjustable depth from 1.5 to 3.7 inches and dual-mode installation for inward or outward mounting relative to the rack posts. The SPCC steel construction with powder-coated finish supports the weight of dense cable bundles between patch panels, switches, servers, and PDUs, and lacing points spaced every 0.3 inches along the crossbar provide precise cable positioning for server rack cable management across data centers, network closets, and AV equipment racks. A 1U cable management bar with M6 cage nuts, M6 screws, M6 plastic washers, M4 screws, and a 2-year warranty.
The adjustable-depth design accommodates varying cable routing requirements by positioning the horizontal crossbar between 1.5 and 3.7 inches from the rack mounting posts, and the fixed 3.78-inch side brackets provide the structural rigidity to support cable loads without flex or sag across the full 19-inch span. Mount the lacing bar between adjacent rack-mounted equipment to eliminate sharp cable bends at connector ends, reduce port stress on switches and patch panels, and maintain clear airflow paths through the rack for passive and active cooling.
Where the 12S-CABLE-LACING-BAR Fits
- Server rooms and data centers with dense cabling where the 1U lacing bar organizes Ethernet, fiber, and power cables between patch panels and switches, and the adjustable depth positions cables at the optimal distance from equipment ports to eliminate connector strain
- Network closets with limited rack space where the 1U form factor adds cable management without consuming vertical rack units needed for active equipment, and the dual-mode inward/outward installation adapts to front-mount or rear-mount cable routing
- AV racks and structured cabling installations where the evenly spaced lacing points secure HDMI, coaxial, and control cables in organized runs, and the powder-coated steel construction withstands the weight of bundled AV cables over long-term installations
What the 12S-CABLE-LACING-BAR Delivers
- Adjustable depth from 1.5 to 3.7 inches: Variable crossbar positioning accommodates different cable routing depths within the rack. Fixed 3.78-inch side brackets provide structural support for heavy cable bundles across the full 19-inch span.
- SPCC steel with powder-coated finish: Heavy-duty steel construction supports dense cable loads from patch panels, servers, switches, and PDUs. Powder coating provides long-term durability and corrosion resistance in rack environments.
- Dual-mode inward/outward installation: Mount the lacing bar facing inward or outward relative to the rack posts for optimal cable routing. Lacing points spaced every 0.3 inches along the crossbar for precise cable positioning.
- Complete M6 hardware included: Ships with M6 cage nuts, M6 screws, M6 plastic washers, and M4 screws for immediate installation in EIA-310-compliant 19-inch racks. 1U form factor at 1.10 pounds.
