The Ubiquiti Enterprise Campus Switch ECS-24-PoE is a 1U rack-mount Layer 3 managed switch with 24 multi-gig PoE++ (802.3bt) ports, two 25G SFP28 uplinks, a 1050W total PoE budget, and dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies. Sixteen ports deliver up to 10 GbE speeds and eight ports deliver up to 2.5 GbE, all with 802.3bt PoE++ capable of powering the highest-draw devices in an enterprise deployment.
The Enterprise line sits above the standard UniFi switches in the Ubiquiti portfolio, targeting campus aggregation and distribution roles where redundant power, 25G fiber uplinks, and per-port multi-gig flexibility are non-negotiable. What the ECS-24-POE Delivers
- 16x 10G + 8x 2.5G, all PoE++ (802.3bt): Sixteen ports negotiate up to 10 GbE and eight ports negotiate up to 2.5 GbE. Every port delivers 802.3bt PoE++ (up to 90W per port). 1050W total PoE budget powers a full complement of high-draw APs, cameras, and controllers.
- 2x 25G SFP28 uplinks: Fiber uplinks at 25 Gbps aggregate the output of all 24 multi-gig ports without creating a backhaul bottleneck. Also supports 10G and 1G SFP modules for backward compatibility with existing fiber infrastructure.
- Layer 3 switching: Inter-VLAN routing, static routes, DHCP relay, and DHCP snooping handled in hardware. Cross-VLAN traffic stays local at the distribution layer instead of traversing the WAN link to a central firewall.
