Centralized, Ransomware-Resistant Storage for a Growing Office
In a 40-person office where every department drops files onto one shared server, that server has to be fast, safe, and always on. The Buffalo TeraStation 3430DN is a 4-bay desktop NAS built for exactly that, shipping with 8TB of storage (two 4TB drives) already installed and RAID pre-configured out of the box. It works as a small-office file server or a private cloud without a weekend of setup. See the full Buffalo range or more data storage.
How It Works
The 3430DN arrives with its drives installed and RAID already configured, so you power it on, join it to the network over 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and start sharing. It speaks the protocols a mixed office needs, including SMB, NFS, AFP, FTP, and iSCSI, and an Alpine AL524 quad-core processor with 2GB of DDR4 keeps transfers moving under load. Cloud Sync ties it to Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, or Amazon S3 for an off-site copy, while 256-bit drive encryption, two-factor authentication, and Abnormal Login Detection guard against ransomware and unauthorized access.
