Multigigabit PoE, Layer 3 Routing, and Zero Fan Noise
Four 2.5 Gigabit and four Gigabit PoE+ copper ports, two 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplinks, and full Layer 3 routing, all in a silent, fanless 1U chassis. The Cisco Catalyst 1300 C1300-8MGP-2X is a managed, enterprise-class switch built for small and medium-sized business networks and branch wiring closets. Its multigigabit PoE+ ports share up to a 120-watt power budget for Wi-Fi 6 access points, IP phones, and cameras, while the 10G SFP+ uplinks give the switch fast fiber headroom back to the core. Deployment Notes
The C1300-8MGP-2X is designed to drop into a wiring closet and run. It is managed through the Cisco Business Dashboard and the Cisco Business mobile app, running a customized Linux operating system with an intuitive dashboard that keeps setup straightforward. Layer 3 routing lets it move traffic between subnets and VLANs on its own, so a growing office can segment departments, keep guest Wi-Fi isolated from business traffic, and carry data, voice, and video over one network. Pervasive security and standards such as 802.1X protect business-critical traffic, and the fanless design stays quiet enough to sit in an open office rather than a sealed closet.
