How It Works
Most of the time the SM1000RM1UTAA passes utility power through while its Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects sags and surges without switching to battery, which extends battery life. When the power actually fails, it moves to its internal battery and delivers sine wave output rated at 1000VA/800W. A USB and DB9 serial port with the included PowerAlert software handle graceful shutdowns, and an accessory slot accepts an optional network card for SNMP monitoring and remote management.
