The Hikvision DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL is a 180-degree panoramic turret security camera that uses two 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensors with dual 4 mm lenses to capture a 5120 x 1440 stitched image across the full 180-degree horizontal field of view. ColorVu technology with an F1.0 aperture delivers full-color footage at illumination levels as low as 0.0005 lux, replacing the grayscale night vision of conventional IR cameras with vivid color detail that captures clothing, vehicle colors, and signage around the clock. The built-in microphone and 1.2W speaker provide two-way audio, and the integrated strobe light and audible warning system deliver active deterrence when triggered by intrusion events.
The dual-sensor design covers the same area that would otherwise require two or three fixed-lens cameras, reducing hardware, cabling, and NVR channel count for wide-area monitoring. Onboard deep learning analytics classify detected motion as human or vehicle targets for perimeter protection, and 130 dB WDR preserves detail in scenes where direct sunlight, headlights, or overhead lighting creates extreme contrast.
