The Hikvision AcuSense DS-2CD2183G2-IU is an 8MP IP dome camera designed for indoor and outdoor monitoring. It delivers a sharp 3840 × 2160 image using a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. The camera supports wide dynamic range to maintain image detail in scenes with both bright and dark areas.
This model features a fixed 2.8mm lens and infrared illumination that provides visibility in complete darkness. A built-in microphone enables audio capture, while Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows power and data to be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable.
AcuSense smart detection supports human and vehicle identification to reduce false alerts. The dome housing is constructed with an aluminum alloy body and plastic bubble and is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance and IK10 for impact resistance.
