The Potter PAM-1 is a multi-voltage encapsulated relay module that provides 10-amp Form C (SPDT) contact switching for fire alarm, HVAC, security, lighting, and energy management systems. The relay accepts 24VAC, 24VDC, or 120VAC input, allowing a single part number to work across the full range of control voltages found in commercial buildings without stocking separate modules for each voltage. An integrated red LED indicates when the relay coil is energized, giving installers and maintenance technicians instant visual confirmation of relay state without a meter.
The PAM-1 is part of the Potter PAM Series of encapsulated relay modules and measures just 1.50 x 1.20 x 0.77 inches, making it compact enough to fit inside junction boxes, behind control panels, or anywhere space is limited. Three mounting options including adhesive tape, self-drilling screw, and loose placement in a backbox provide flexibility for any installation condition. The module draws 20mA at 24VDC and 50mA at 24VAC or 120VAC, with 12-inch 18-gauge wire leads for direct connection to the control circuit. The relay is UL recognized and operates across an ambient temperature range of 32 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
