The SonicWall TZ270 (02-SSC-6841) is the entry-level Gen 7 next-generation firewall in the TZ Series, delivering the same SonicOS 7.0 platform, Reassembly-Free Deep Packet Inspection, and SD-WAN capabilities as the larger TZ370 and TZ470 in a compact desktop appliance priced for small offices and remote branches. Eight Gigabit Ethernet ports provide dedicated interfaces for WAN, LAN, DMZ, and guest network segmentation, and the 1-year TotalSecure Essential Edition license includes Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Intrusion Prevention, Application Control, and Content Filtering out of the box.
The TZ270 is part of the SonicWall Gen 7 TZ Series and runs the full SonicOS 7.0 feature set including DPI-SSL for TLS 1.3 encrypted traffic inspection, Application Intelligence for traffic identification and prioritization, and IPsec VPN for secure site-to-site and remote access connectivity. Capture ATP with Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection (RTDMI) analyzes unknown files in the cloud sandbox, and Zero-Touch Deployment enables remote provisioning without on-site IT support.
