The SonicWall TZ80 Secure Upgrade Advanced Edition (03-SSC-3031) bundles the TZ80 entry-level desktop firewall with Advanced security services through a Secure Upgrade tradeup path, providing organizations upgrading from older SonicWall models with a subscription-based next-generation firewall that delivers 750 Mbps firewall throughput, 93.75 MB/s VPN throughput, and full deep packet inspection across 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a 15.45 oz desktop chassis. The TZ80 is SonicWall's most compact Gen 7 firewall, designed for small office, home office, and IoT gateway deployments where enterprise-grade security is needed in the smallest possible form factor.
The Advanced subscription activates the full SonicWall security stack including Gateway Antivirus, Intrusion Prevention, Application Control, Content Filtering, Capture ATP cloud sandboxing with Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection, Anti-Spyware, URL Filtering, DNS Security, and SSL/TLS inspection. The subscription-based licensing model includes the hardware cost in the subscription, simplifying procurement and eliminating upfront capital expenses.
