The System Sensor P2RLED is an L-Series LED horn strobe that combines audible and visual fire alarm notification in a 2-wire wall-mount package with lower current draw than traditional xenon strobe technology. LED-based strobe output with field-selectable candela settings lets installers configure the visual output for each location without stocking multiple part numbers, and the rotary switches for horn tone and volume provide the same flexibility on the audible side. The P2RLED operates on 24VDC and is electrically compatible with SpectrAlert, SpectrAlert Advance, and all L-Series devices, allowing it to integrate into existing notification appliance circuits without rewiring or protocol changes.
The L-Series platform is designed for fast installation and reduced commissioning time. The universal plug-in mounting plate includes a built-in shorting spring that maintains circuit continuity while the device is removed, so installers can mount backplates first and snap in devices after painting and finishing. Digital Voltage Meter diagnostic test points on the horn strobe let technicians verify voltage at the device without removing it from the mounting plate. The tamper-resistant housing in red with a clear lens delivers 88+ dBA at 16V and mounts to standard electrical boxes in commercial, institutional, and educational facilities.
