Automatic A/B Power Redundancy for Single-Corded Equipment
Keep single-corded servers, switches, and appliances online even when one power source fails. The Eaton Tripp Lite PDUMH20ATNET is a switched PDU with a built-in automatic transfer switch: connect it to two independent power sources, and it feeds all 16 outlets from the primary while standing ready to switch to the secondary within milliseconds if the primary drops or degrades. That gives gear with only one power cord the A/B redundancy normally reserved for dual-corded equipment, and its network interface lets you monitor and control the PDU from anywhere. Built For
The PDUMH20ATNET is built for IT and data-center racks full of single-corded network devices that cannot afford an outage. Its two L5-20P inputs connect to any two compatible 120V sources, whether separate UPS units, separate mains circuits, a utility feed plus a generator, or separate grid feeds, and an on-board processor constantly checks power quality on both so it never transfers to a worse source. Front-panel LEDs show which input is live, a two-digit meter reads current draw, and the 1U horizontal chassis fits a standard rack. Included plug adapters and a 12-foot secondary cord make wiring both sources straightforward.
