10 Gbps Multi-Mode Fiber Transceiver for Short-Range SFP+ Uplinks
The Ubiquiti UACC-OM-MM-10G-D-2 is a 2-pack of 10G SFP+ multi-mode fiber transceivers with LC duplex connectors. Each module plugs into an SFP+ slot on a UniFi switch or compatible device and connects to multi-mode fiber (OM3/OM4) for 10 Gbps optical uplinks up to 300 meters. Sold as a pair so both ends of the link are covered in one order.
Multi-mode fiber is the standard for 10G links within a building or campus where the distance is under 300 meters. These SFP+ modules provide the optical interface between the switch and the fiber cable, delivering the same 10 Gbps throughput as a DAC cable but over much longer distances where copper can't reach.
