All-in-One Kit to Add NFC Access Control to a Single Door with UniFi Access
The Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Starter Kit (UA-G3-SK) is a complete hardware bundle for controlling a single door with NFC card, key fob, and Apple Wallet credentials. The kit includes the UA-G3 reader, UA-Hub-Door-Mini controller, and UA-Pocket key fob. Install the reader at the door, mount the hub behind the wall or above the ceiling, and the door is managed through UniFi Access with no additional hardware to source.
The starter kit removes the guesswork from a first UniFi Access deployment. Instead of specifying a reader, controller, and credentials separately, the kit bundles compatible components that work together out of the box. The Hub-Door-Mini handles the lock relay, door sensor input, and network connectivity while the G3 reader handles credential presentation at the door face.

What the Kit Includes
- UA-G3 Reader: Compact NFC reader mounts at the door frame. Reads NFC cards, key fobs, and Apple/Google Wallet credentials. IP55 rated for indoor or covered outdoor mounting. Dimensions: 93 x 40 x 36.5 mm.
- UA-Hub-Door-Mini: Single-door controller mounts behind the wall plate or above the ceiling. Connects to the network via Gigabit Ethernet, drives the lock relay, and monitors door sensor state. IP54 rated. Dimensions: 113 x 66 x 27.6 mm.
- UA-Pocket Key Fob: Portable NFC credential for users who prefer a physical token over a phone. Ultra-thin (7.4 mm) form factor fits in a wallet or on a keychain. Dimensions: 84 x 39 x 7.4 mm.
- Apple Wallet support: Staff add their access credential to Apple Wallet and unlock the door with iPhone or Apple Watch. No app required at the door.
