The Ubiquiti UniFi Etherlighting Patch Cable (UACC-Cable-Patch-EL) is a Cat6A patch cable with a translucent RJ45 boot that channels LED light from compatible UniFi switches to display port status through color. The cable supports 10 GbE speeds, uses an ultra-slim 3.4mm diameter jacket, and is available in 0.15m, 0.3m, 1m, 2m, and 3m lengths. Plug it into any Etherlighting-compatible UniFi switch and each port glows a configurable color based on link status, VLAN assignment, or speed.
Etherlighting turns patch panel management from label-reading to color-at-a-glance. Instead of tracing cables or reading port numbers, you see which ports are active, which VLANs are assigned where, and which links are running at full speed, all from the color of the RJ45 boot. The slim 3.4mm jacket takes up less tray space than standard Cat6A, and the 10 GbE rating means no performance compromise for the visual feedback.

The switch controls the LED, and the translucent boot on the cable channels whatever color the switch outputs.
