PoE powered, IP65 weatherproof, and managed entirely through UniFi Protect with no subscription fees for local recording.

G5 Pro vs AI Pro: What's the Difference?
Both are 4K cameras with 3x optical zoom in the UniFi Protect lineup, but they target different budgets and feature sets. The G5 Pro provides optical zoom and AI event detection (person, vehicle, animal) through UniFi Protect's cloud-side processing. The AI Pro adds on-board AI processing with a dedicated quad-core chip that handles face recognition, license plate reading, and smart detections at the camera without consuming NVR CPU. The AI Pro also has a larger 1/1.8" sensor for better low-light performance and a Vision Enhancer port for extended IR. If you need basic zoom coverage with standard AI alerts, the G5 Pro. If you need identification-grade face and plate recognition processed locally, the AI Pro.
