Automatic LTE Internet Failover That Keeps Your Network Online During ISP Outages
The Ubiquiti UniFi LTE Backup Pro (U-LTE-BackupPro) is a compact cellular failover device that provides automatic internet backup over LTE when the primary ISP connection goes down. It connects inline between a UniFi gateway and the network, activating LTE connectivity within seconds of detecting a WAN failure. Includes an AT&T data-only nano SIM card and internal LTE antenna.
The LTE Backup Pro sits between the upstream switch and the UniFi gateway. Under normal operation, traffic passes through transparently. When the gateway detects WAN failure, the LTE Backup Pro activates its cellular radio and provides internet via LTE until the primary connection recovers. PoE passthrough means the device and the downstream device share a single cable run from the PoE switch.

- Included AT&T nano SIM: Removable data-only SIM card for AT&T LTE coverage in the US. Activate the included SIM or insert your own compatible SIM from another carrier.
- PoE+ in and PoE out: Receives power via PoE+ (802.3at) on one GbE port and passes PoE to the downstream device on the second port. One cable from the switch powers both the LTE backup and the connected device.
- Compact wall-mount form factor: Small enclosure (8 x 2.6 x 1.3 in., 7.87 oz) mounts on a wall next to the gateway or inside a network cabinet without consuming rack space.
