Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Lite 16 PoE - Managed 16-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch
The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Lite 16 PoE (USW-LITE-16-POE) is a compact managed Layer 2 switch with 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 8 of which deliver 802.3af/at PoE+ power to UniFi access points, cameras, VoIP phones, or any standard PoE device. The remaining 8 ports run at full Gigabit line rate for wired devices that do not need power injection.
Total PoE budget across the 8 powered ports is 45W, which covers 3-4 UniFi APs at typical draw or a mix of lower-power PoE endpoints. If your PoE load requires more wattage per AP or more powered ports, the USW-24-POE steps up to 16 PoE ports and 95W. The Switch Lite 16 PoE is the right pick when you need more total ports than an 8-port switch but your PoE draw stays light.
As part of the UniFi switch lineup, the Switch Lite 16 PoE is managed from the same UniFi Network console as every other UniFi device in the deployment. VLANs, port-level PoE toggling, IGMP snooping, port mirroring, spanning tree, and storm control are all configurable from the dashboard.
