Fanless 16-Port Managed Switch with PoE+ and SFP Fiber for Quiet Closets and Small Offices
The Ubiquiti UniFi USW-16-POE is a fanless Layer 2 managed switch with 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, eight of which deliver PoE+ (802.3at) power to connected devices. Two SFP uplink slots provide Gigabit fiber connectivity to an aggregation switch or core. The compact 7.9-inch depth and zero-fan design let it fit in shallow rack cabinets and shared workspaces where noise is not acceptable.
The USW-16-POE sits between the UniFi Lite 16 PoE and the Pro models. It includes a front-panel 1.3-inch touch LCM display for at-a-glance port and network status without opening a laptop or the UniFi dashboard. Managed through the same UniFi Network application as every other device in the deployment, with full port-level configuration, VLAN assignment, and PoE scheduling.

The Lite model drops the front-panel LCM display and costs less. Both deliver 16 Gigabit ports with eight PoE+ and two SFP uplinks. The USW-16-POE adds the 1.3-inch touch display for at-a-glance port status and network monitoring directly at the rack, which matters in shared closets, remote sites, or any deployment where someone walks up to the switch to check status before opening a dashboard. For environments where that physical visibility saves troubleshooting time, the standard model is the right choice.
