Coverage range depends on the building construction, client device capabilities, and interference environment. Open-plan spaces with minimal walls will see wider coverage, while dense construction (concrete, brick, metal framing) reduces range. For consistent coverage in multi-room environments, Ubiquiti recommends placing multiple U6+ units throughout the space rather than relying on a single AP at maximum range, since closer APs deliver higher throughput to each client.
