Best Suited For
This is portable storage aimed at government, defense, healthcare and other regulated environments where a drive has to be both FIPS-validated and TAA compliant before it can be issued at all. Because the PIN is entered on the device rather than through host software, it suits users who move between machines they do not administer, including locked-down or non-Windows systems. The hardened enclosure earns its place in the field: it meets the MIL-STD-810G spec and carries an IP67 rating, so a drop or a soaking is not the end of the deployment. For fleets rather than individuals, the drive can optionally be enrolled in SafeConsole for central policy control.
