Power-Cycle Any Outlet Without a Trip to the Rack
When a switch or server locks up in an unmanned rack, someone normally has to drive out just to flip its power. The Eaton PDUMH30HV19NET removes that trip: a 5.5kW single-phase switched PDU that lets you turn on, reboot, or lock out any of its 14 outlets over the network and watch the load in real time. Explore more Eaton power gear or browse all rack PDUs.
How It Works
The built-in LX Platform card puts the PDU on your network with a Java-free, HTML5 web interface, plus SNMP, SSH, telnet, and email alerts over 10/100 Ethernet. From there you switch each of the 8 C13 and 6 C19 outlets independently to reboot frozen hardware, program power-up and power-down sequences so interdependent systems start in the right order, and electronically lock unused outlets to block unauthorized gear. A local current meter and remote reporting show voltage, frequency, and load, so you can catch a building overload before a breaker trips.
