A consumer television pressed into signage duty fails in a predictable way: it was never rated to run around the clock, and the dust in a back-of-house corridor or a workshop finds its way inside regardless. The Hisense 43DM66D is specified for that shift instead, rated for 24 hours a day and seven days a week and carrying an IP5X rating against dust ingress. Deployment Notes
Content runs on the panel itself rather than on a box behind it. Android 9.0 Pie sits on a quad-core Cortex A55 with Mali-G52 graphics and 3GB of DDR4, which is enough to play a scheduled loop without an external media player taking up space and a power outlet. Getting content and control to it is equally flexible: Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the network side, two HDMI 2.0 inputs and a DisplayPort 1.2 input for local sources, an HDMI output for passing a signal to a second screen, and an RS232 serial port for the control systems that most installs already run. Mounting is standard 400 by 400 VESA on a 29.8 pound panel, the bezels measure 0.48 inches on every side for tighter multi-screen layouts, and the supply accepts either 120 or 230 volts.
