The Lexmark 27X0400 is a 500GB internal hard drive that adds storage capacity to compatible Lexmark printers for job buffering, print spooling, form and font storage, and encrypted data handling. The hard drive enables job building, email spooling, user-based billing, and job parking through power cycles, and stores forms, fonts, and macros locally on the printer so large or complex jobs process without delays.
Disk Encryption generates a unique encryption key for each printer to protect all data stored on the drive, and Printing Lockout lets administrators lock the disk with a user PIN to prevent queued jobs from printing until the drive is unlocked. Compatible with Lexmark CS720de, CS720dte, CS725de, CS725dte, CS820de, CS820dte, CS820dtfe, CX725de, CX820de, and CX820dtfe printers.
