What Is the Difference Between a Flash Drive and a Dual Drive?
A dual drive is a flash drive with two connectors instead of one. An ordinary USB stick terminates in a single plug, usually Type-A, and reaching a Type-C device means finding an adapter. A dual drive puts a Type-A plug on one end and a Type-C plug on the other, so the same storage moves between a desktop, a newer laptop, a tablet, and a phone without anything in between.
