The Ubiquiti PowerBeam 2AC 400 (PBE-2AC-400) is a 2.4 GHz airMAX ac CPE with an 18 dBi, 400mm dish reflector and InnerFeed technology that integrates the radio directly into the antenna feedhorn. This eliminates RF cable losses entirely and maximizes the link budget for long-range 2.4 GHz connections. The PowerBeam 2AC delivers up to 450+ Mbps real throughput with airMAX ac protocol and includes a dedicated Wi-Fi management radio for mobile app configuration in the field.
The 2.4 GHz operating frequency gives the PowerBeam 2AC an advantage in deployments where foliage and building materials attenuate higher-frequency signals. While 5 GHz CPE devices offer wider channels and more spectrum, the PBE-2AC-400 reaches subscribers through moderate tree cover and suburban environments where 5 GHz links would not maintain stable connections. It pairs with any 2.4 GHz airMAX ac base station for point-to-multipoint subscriber service or connects two units for a point-to-point bridge.

- airMAX ac protocol, 450+ Mbps throughput: airOS 8 with TDMA scheduling and airMAX ac support. Selectable channel widths of 10, 20, and 40 MHz for both PtP and PtMP operation modes.
- Dedicated Wi-Fi management radio: Separate radio for UNMS mobile app setup. Configure the CPE from a phone at the installation site without running a cable to a laptop.
- Built-in RF analytics with airView: A dedicated processor continuously scans the 2.4 GHz spectrum and displays real-time EVM, SNI, and noise floor data, plus airView spectrum analysis for identifying interference sources.
- 24V PoE powered, GbE backhaul: Ships with a 0.5A PoE adapter. Single Ethernet cable delivers power and Gigabit data from the indoor equipment to the outdoor CPE.
