3-Channel Analog Master Station with Selective Calling, All Call Capability, and Hands-Free Response for Small Intercom Systems
The Aiphone LEF-3C is a 3-channel analog master station that supports up to 4 intermixable stations, including additional masters, sub stations, and door stations on the same system. Each of the 3 call buttons connects to a specific station for selective calling, and the master operator uses press-to-talk communication while the called station responds hands-free. When paired with optional All Call wiring and the BG-10C exchange unit, the LEF-3C gains simultaneous paging across every connected station and background music distribution. The LEF-3C fits building security and internal communication systems where a small number of zones need dedicated intercom channels without IP networking infrastructure.
The LEF-3C runs on 12V DC power and connects to each station with a multi-conductor wire run that reaches up to 650 feet on 22 AWG cable or 1,600 feet on 18 AWG cable. An occupied LED on the front panel shows when the talk path is in use, preventing other operators from interrupting an active conversation. The compact 3-button layout keeps the unit smaller than the 5-channel and 10-channel LEF models, making it the right fit for installations that need 3 or fewer intercom zones with the same audio quality and wiring flexibility as the larger stations in the series.

- Long-distance wiring up to 1,600 feet: Standard 22 AWG cable reaches 650 feet between stations, and 18 AWG cable extends the run to 1,600 feet. The multi-conductor wiring scheme uses 5 common wires plus one individual wire per station.
- Compact form factor for small installations: The 3-button layout measures 8-1/4 in. H x 6-1/8 in. W x 1-3/8 in. D, keeping the unit smaller and less obtrusive than the 5-channel and 10-channel LEF models while delivering the same audio performance.
