Walk In, Plug In One Cable, Run Your Own Meeting
A guest arrives for a meeting and wants to run it from their own laptop on their company's video platform, not the one the room is set up for. With Logitech Extend, they plug in a single USB-C cable and start the call, with no drivers to install and no software to download. Extend brings BYOD flexibility to Android-based rooms built around the Logitech Rally Bar family, so almost any device can drive the meeting through the room's camera and display. Common Use Cases
Extend covers two BYOD scenarios with one device. In BYOD Passthrough, a host in an Android-based Rally Bar room bypasses the room's designated video service and runs the meeting straight from their own laptop or phone. In BYOD Extension, a laptop or mobile device connects to a Rally Bar or another Logitech conference camera to hold a BYOD meeting using the in-room camera and display. Either way, the guest keeps their preferred meeting platform while the room supplies the professional audio and video.
