A closet UPS sized for a clean shutdown is not the same as one sized to ride out a twenty-minute outage, and replacing the unit is rarely the cheapest way to close that gap. The BP48VRM2U bolts onto an existing Eaton Tripp Lite SmartPro in the 750VA to 1500VA range and extends its battery runtime, with up to four matching packs daisy-chained when one is not enough. Eaton supplies heavy-gauge cabling with high-current 48V DC connectors, plus both the rack rails and the tower stands, so the same part fits either installation.
