The Ubiquiti UACC-OM-SM-1G-S-2 is a 2-pack of 1G bidirectional (BiDi) SFP transceivers that use a single fiber strand per link instead of the two strands required by standard duplex modules. Each module transmits and receives on different wavelengths over the same LC simplex fiber, so one pair gives you a complete point-to-point 1 Gbps connection up to 3 km on single-mode infrastructure.
Sold as a matched pair because BiDi links require one module at each wavelength on opposite ends. If you are connecting two UniFi switches across buildings or floors with existing single-mode fiber, these modules let you light up a link using half the strand count of a conventional duplex SFP.
