1 Gbps Bidirectional Single-Mode SFP Transceiver for Long-Range Fiber Links up to 20 km
The Ubiquiti UACC-OM-SM-1G-S-20 is a 1 Gbps bidirectional (BiDi) SFP transceiver module that connects over single-mode fiber with a simplex LC connector. BiDi operation uses a single fiber strand for both transmit and receive (on different wavelengths), cutting fiber requirements in half compared to standard duplex SFP modules. The module supports links up to 20 km.
This module fits any standard SFP slot on UniFi switches, EdgeRouters, or third-party equipment that accepts MSA-compliant SFP transceivers. For campus backbones, building-to-building links, or ISP last-mile connections where only one fiber strand is available per direction, the BiDi module delivers full Gigabit throughput on a single fiber. Sold individually. Pair with a matching BiDi module at the far end (opposite TX/RX wavelength).
