The Ubiquiti UACC-AOC-SFP28-5M is a 5-meter active optical cable (AOC) with integrated SFP28 transceivers at both ends, delivering 25 Gbps throughput over multi-mode fiber. Unlike passive DAC cables that are limited to short runs, the AOC uses fiber optics to reach distances beyond what copper twinax supports while maintaining the plug-and-play simplicity of a pre-terminated assembly.
The ultra-thin, lightweight fiber cable is designed for rack-to-rack and cross-room connections between UniFi switches, consoles, and other equipment with SFP28 slots.
