The Ubiquiti UACC-PSU-12V-150W is a 150W hot-swappable power module that provides redundant or replacement power for Ubiquiti enterprise gateways including the EFG (Enterprise Fortress Gateway) and UXG (UniFi Next-Gen Gateway). The hot-swap design allows the module to be inserted or removed while the gateway is running, enabling zero-downtime power supply replacement or redundancy addition.
In a redundant configuration, two power modules share the load. If one fails, the other takes full load without interruption. This eliminates the gateway as a single point of failure in the power path, which matters in deployments where the gateway handles firewall, routing, and VPN for an entire site.
