Fanless 8-Port PoE Switch with 110W Budget for Wireless ISP and Outdoor Tower Deployments
The Ubiquiti UISP Switch (UISP-S) is a compact, fanless Layer 2 managed switch with 8 Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports, a 1G SFP uplink, and a 110W total PoE budget. Designed for wireless ISP (WISP) MicroPoP deployments, it powers airMAX radios, subscriber stations, and UISP routers from a single wall-mounted switch at the base of a tower or inside a weatherproof enclosure.
The UISP Switch is managed through the UISP application (not UniFi Network), providing centralized monitoring and management across distributed WISP sites. The 110W PoE budget handles 8 radios at typical power draw, and the SFP port connects to a fiber backbone or long-range link without consuming one of the PoE ports. Fanless operation means no moving parts to fail at remote outdoor locations.
