Enterprise WiFi 5 Access Point with Built-In RF Security and Spectrum Analysis
The Ubiquiti UniFi AC SHD (UAP-AC-SHD) is a 802.11ac Wave 2 dual-band access point with a dedicated third radio for real-time security scanning and spectrum analysis. While the primary 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios deliver 4x4 MU-MIMO wireless service at up to 1.69 Gbps combined, the security radio continuously monitors the RF environment for rogue access points, deauthentication attacks, and interference sources without interrupting client traffic.
The SHD model targets high-security environments, dense enterprise deployments, and government facilities where continuous wireless threat detection is mandatory. The security radio operates independently, so scanning and threat response happen in parallel with normal WiFi service. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide redundant uplink or link aggregation. Managed through the same UniFi Network controller as the rest of the deployment.
