Tri-Band WiFi 7 Enterprise Access Point with 10 Spatial Streams, 320 MHz Channels, and 10 GbE Uplink for High-Density Deployments
The Ubiquiti UniFi E7 is a WiFi 7 enterprise access point built for environments where 1,000+ concurrent clients connect simultaneously without throughput degradation. Ten spatial streams across 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz deliver maximum data rates of 11.5 Gbps on 6 GHz, 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz, and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The 10 GbE uplink ensures the wired backhaul never bottlenecks aggregate wireless throughput.
The E7 sits at the top of the UniFi access point lineup above the U7 Pro and U7 Pro Max. Where those models target standard office and SMB deployments with 2.5 GbE uplinks, the E7 delivers the full 10-stream radio architecture and 10 GbE uplink required for enterprise-density floors, campus buildings, and venues that hit peak concurrent load. 320 MHz channels on 6 GHz with MLO-capable client support provide the bandwidth headroom that WiFi 6E and earlier generations cannot match.
Where the E7 Fits
- Enterprise offices and campus buildings where each floor zone needs 1,000+ concurrent wireless clients on a single AP with 10 GbE backhaul to prevent uplink congestion during peak hours
- Convention centers, auditoriums, and high-density venues where hundreds of devices connect simultaneously and 320 MHz channels on 6 GHz provide the raw bandwidth to serve them all without contention
- Government and NDAA-required facilities needing certified enterprise wireless infrastructure with backward compatibility across WiFi 7, 6E, 6, 5, and 4 client generations
What the E7 Delivers
- WiFi 7 tri-band with 10 spatial streams: Maximum data rates of 11.5 Gbps on 6 GHz, 8.6 Gbps on 5 GHz, and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. 320 MHz channels and OFDMA serve dense client populations efficiently. Full backward compatibility with all prior WiFi generations.
- 10 GbE primary uplink with 1 GbE redundant: The 10G wired connection prevents the AP from becoming the throughput bottleneck in aggregate. Secondary 1 GbE port provides uplink failover for always-on enterprise deployments.
- 1,000+ client capacity: Engineered radio architecture handles enterprise-density environments where hundreds of simultaneous connections per zone are the baseline, not the peak. MU-MIMO on all three bands serves multiple clients in parallel.
- PoE++ powered, single-cable install: 43W maximum draw over 802.3bt. Pro Mount included for ceiling, wall, or VESA installations. No external power supply, no secondary cabling. Operating temperature rated from -30 to 50 C for unconditioned spaces.
- Full UniFi Network management: Centralized configuration, RF optimization, coordinated roaming, and firmware updates alongside all other UniFi devices. NDAA compliant with CE, FCC, IC, and Anatel certifications.
