The Ubiquiti UniFi Mesh Directional Antenna (UMA-D) is a dual-band, dual-polarity directional antenna with 15 dBi gain that connects to the UAP-AC-M (UniFi AC Mesh) access point via RP-SMA. It replaces the omnidirectional coverage pattern of the stock AP antennas with a focused directional beam, extending range in one direction while reducing interference from the sides and rear.
The UMA-D is an accessory antenna, not a standalone device. It pairs specifically with the UniFi AC Mesh AP (UAP-AC-M), which has external RP-SMA antenna connectors. The three-axis ball joint mount allows precise aiming after installation, and the UV-stabilized plastic enclosure handles indoor or outdoor deployment without degradation.
