30-Meter 10 Gbps Direct-Connect Fiber for Long Switch-to-Switch Runs Without Separate Transceivers
The Ubiquiti 10G SFP+ Active Optical Cable (UACC-AOC-SFP10-30M) is a 30-meter multi-mode fiber cable with built-in SFP+ transceivers on both ends. It delivers a 10 Gbps link between UniFi switches, consoles, and other SFP+ devices without purchasing separate transceiver modules or patch cables. Plug one end into each SFP+ slot and the link comes up at 10 Gbps immediately.
At 30 meters (98 ft), this AOC covers long cross-rack and cross-room runs that exceed the 10-meter limit of passive DAC cables. The active optics in each connector drive the signal over multi-mode fiber without the signal degradation or power limitations of copper twinax at distance. The ultra-thin profile reduces bundle diameter in cable trays compared to standard fiber patch cables with separate SFP+ modules.
